Web seminars
and meetings are the next best thing to being there. During the
live program you hear the speaker using your computer's audio system or over a standard phone connection
and view a visual presentation over the internet. Expect to see a slide presentation and other visuals. In addition,
most speakers allow time for questions throughout the presentation. You learn without
leaving.
Your sponsor may make an archive of the live program available for
30 days after the program date. You can gain access to the archive with a password
provided by Speakersmic. The sponsor
may restrict your use of the archive. Please refer to your sponsor's
registration or purchase information for details regarding the use
of the archive.
A sponsor may make a program available on CD-ROM or
DVD.
Sale of CD-ROMs and DVDs is a sponsor option. These products
may not be available for all programs. Please refer to your sponsor's
marketing materials for information regarding program related products
available for purchase. Click here to access sponsor links to marketing
materials.
The CD-ROM is a recording of the live broadcast. Speakersmic uses
dedicated equipment to ensure the highest quality recording. The
CD-ROM plays on any computer as a Windows media file (WMV), a Quicktime
movie (MOV for Mac), or a Flash movie (SWF).
-
Speakersmic's DVDs are recorded in standard definition. The quality
of the audio and video is superior to the live presentation. The
DVD is menu driven and divided into chapters for easy review. The
DVD plays on most DVD players and any computer with DVD capabilities.
The speaker or sponsor may provide materials for
download by attendees prior to the program. Speakersmic assigns
you a user name and password to access the materials. You are responsible
for making copies available to those participating from your location.
Whether you are
a web seminar new comer or an old pro, Speakersmic encourages you
to take a test drive. Our attendee view demo gives you an idea of how
a Speakersmic web seminar looks and feels. This demo is a recording
of a live presentation. It represents what attendees can expect
when connecting to a live Speakersmic program or when viewing an
archive of the presentation. Much depends on the speaker's delivery
methods. Some speakers may not use all of the presention tools seen
in this demo. For example, some speakers will use a slide slow and others may use a combination of
delivery methods.
