A speaker sponsors a public program.

Are you a speaker that feels you have something of interest to say to the masses...and you think they will pay to participate, and you are willing to take a small risk to find out? Speakersmic wants to give you that chance. (We do reserve the right to say no, but hope we don't have to.)

If you have a website or other access to your market, you can book a program with Speakersmic, market it using your established resources, process registrations and provide Speakersmic with the registrants' contact information. Speakersmic takes over from there. This is called our Basic Connection. You pay $350 to schedule a program - your first 10 connections are paid, additional connections $35 each.

Maybe you want to accept online registrations, but you don't have an online store. Speakersmic can process your online registrations. (We also accept registrations by fax, phone and mail.) If you buy Speakersmic's Registration Services, it will cost you $450 to schedule a program. Your attendees register for your program using a generic registration form linked from the promotional materials posted on your website. (Speakersmic provides the link information to you or your webmaster.)

Use Speakersmic's Marketing Services to create a seamless identity from beginning to end. We can brand an online catalog and store with your logo. Even your virtual training room is custom branded and designed to meet your specifications. You can use this sales tool to market your Speakersmic programs and related materials, or sign-up for our Extended Marketing Services and market as many items as you wish for an unlimited period of time.

You control the cost of your program registration and related materials. Speakersmic charges a fixed fee for each registering connection. Remember to build this fee into the cost of your program. The Speakermic fee for the sale of materials not included with program registration is 10% of the total sales.

A speaker initiates a partnership with a sponsor to offer a program to the sponsor's target market.

You have established relationships with associations or companies. You have presented on-site programs. You traveled, your audience traveled and the sponsor coordinated the logistics and paid expenses. Would those sponsors be interested in offering their members or employees the opportunity to participate in a live program online? Have you asked? Many sponsors would jump at the chance.

Speakersmic provides a low cost way to test the waters. We do not require an on-going commitment. Our minimum is minimal. Breaking into web delivery won't break the bank.

Partnering with a sponsor gives a speaker a built in direct marketing tool. The sponsor markets the program. The speaker or the sponsor may process registrations or contract for Speakersmic's Registration Services. If the audience is defined - such as multiple offices of a company - the sponsor simply provides Speakersmic contact information for the connections and we take it from there.

Another selling point is the 30 day archive. For those who cannot participate in the live presentation, the program is available for web access for 30 days after the program. Rather than training an entire employee population with multiple sessions over a period of days, coordinating coverage of the office, travel time, etc., the program is presented once and available on demand from any computer. The cost savings to a company can be enormous.

The speaker and the sponsor determine the financial arrangements. The program may be free to registrants. The sponsor agrees to pay Speakersmic's cost and the speaker's fee, if applicable. If the program is offered for profit, the speaker and sponsor agree to a split of the revenue and expenses.

Speakersmic uses the Program Profile to determine program specifics and coordinate program details. The speaker and sponsor are encouraged to work together to complete the Program Profile. The Program Profile allows you to select various Sponsor's Options that may increase the cost of the program. The partner submitting the Program Profile is responsible for payment to Speakersmic.

A sponsor holds a meeting of employees using one or more employees as speakers.

You used to hold your company meetings in the breakroom before you opened the doors for business. Now, you have multiple locations and hundreds of employees. Communicating information company-wide is challenging and costly. You can conduct company meetings and employee training via the web for a fraction of the cost of on-site delivery.

A company can use one or more speakers. Speakers can be in the same location or in multiple locations. Employees participating in the training can ask questions and get answers during the presentation. Any speaker may answer the questions.

Plus, the live program is archived free of charge for 30 days. Employees unavailable to attend the live training can view the archive on demand for 30 days. Everybody gets the information first hand.

If you have 10 or fewer connections, you pay $350 for your 2 hour training session or meeting. Each additional connection is $35. As a sponsor you have many other options available. Click here to learn about the Sponsor's Options.

Speakersmic will post your program materials on a secure site. Each connection uses the assigned user name and password to download the materials. Each location copies and distributes its own materials.

Training sometimes involves testing. Speakermic gives you the ability to test your employees before, during and after the program. Results are provided within 24 hours of the program.

A sponsor presents a program to a defined audience of invited attendees.

You want to invite 20 people from 15 different cities to a sales meeting. Using Speakersmic's Basic Connection, you can schedule a meeting for $350 - less than a plane ticket. This covers the cost of your first 10 connections.

Three days prior to the program, you provide Speakersmic with attendee contact information and any materials you want to make available for download by attendees. Speakersmic will post the materials to a secure site and contact your attendees with instructions on how to download the materials and connect to the program.

In this scenario you offer the program free of charge to those that accept your invitation. Speakersmic bills you $35 for each connection in excess of the 10 prepaid at scheduling. You only pay for those connecting to the program.

A sponsor contracts a speaker and markets the program for registration.

Industry associations provide educational opportunities to their members. In the past, registering for a program meant a day out of the office and required travel to a central location. Telephone seminars provide an alternative, but with no visual component an essential element of communication is lost.

Web seminars combine audio and visual communication tools. Your members may use a telephone to receive the audio- just like a telephone seminar or VOIP using their computer's audio system. The visual portion of the program is accessed using the internet. Your members are given a link to a website and a user name and password to access the program.

As a sponsor you may choose to process you own registrations and use Speakersmic's Basic Connection. You pay $350 to schedule your program. Your first 10 connections are paid with the booking fee. You are billed $35 for each additional registration. You may choose to use our Registration Services at $45 per connection and a booking fee of $450. Speakermic will process your registrations online, by fax, by phone or through the mail.

Your financial risk as the sponsor of a web seminar is minimal. Speakersmic charges a fixed per connection fee. Depending on the sponsor's options you choose and the fee to your speaker, you can price your program for profit or as a non-profit member service. Speakersmic's Program Profile has a built in estimate feature. You are able to determine the approximate cost of your program with the click of a button. There is no obligation to schedule a program when completing the Program Profile.

Speakersmic maintains a 30 day archive of your program. You can include this as a benefit of registration or offer it for sale as a separate product. You may want to offer all related program materials for sale using Speakersmic's Marketing Services or Extended Marketing Services. The fee is 10% of purchases charged through Speakersmic's payment gateway.

Everybody likes options. Offering web seminars in addition to on-site programs gives your members a choice.

A sponsor may use multiple speakers in a panel discussion format.

Experts from all over the world can gather in one place without ever leaving their comfort zones. This panel of experts is each alloted a set amount of time to present his or her portion of the program. Then all of the panelists are placed into an open discussion forum where they can question one another and exchange ideas. Attendees participate by asking questions during the program using the instant messaging feature or a toll free call.

Your experts may be closer to home, but your employee population is scattered far and wide. Whatever your situation Speakersmic can connect your audience with as many speakers as you need to communicate your information effectively. Many formats work well when incorporating multiple speakers into a presentation. You may have:

  • a panel of speakers each with an alloted time to speak and the others muted,

  • several speakers with an open mic and each able to speak at any time,

  • a primary speaker with one or more persons available to answer questions,

  • several speakers designated to take the mic when called upon, or

  • two or more speakers with a scripted presentation.

In each of these instances it is the responsibility of the speakers to divide the forum. Most anything is possible. Speakersmic needs to know how the speakers' air time should be managed. The Pre-Program Survey asks for details.
